Fresh Apricot Jam
1.Prepare boiling water cans. Heat the jar in boiling water until it can be used. Don't boil. Wash the lid with warm soap and put the strap aside.
2.Mix the prepared apricots with lemon juice and sugar in a 6 or 8 quart saucepan. If necessary, add 1/2 teaspoon of butter or margarine to reduce foam. Bring the mixture to a boil thoroughly, do not stir down, and stir frequently if the temperature is too high.
